The Katre Art and Science Center’s Art Film Series began on Tuesday, November 4, at the Zade Life Hotel cinema hall. Screenings and analyses of the Art Film Series will continue regularly on the first Tuesday evening of each month with the participation of cinema enthusiasts.“Takva”: During the screening and analysis of “Takva,” a film released in 2006 and winner of 9 awards at the 43rd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, character analyses and evaluations of scene sequences were conducted within the context of religion and modernism. In addition, productive discussions were held before and after the screening regarding the philosophy of the film and its overall message.“A Separation”: Released in 2011, the film won the Golden Bear for Best Film at the 61st Berlin Film Festival, becoming the first Iranian film to receive this award. It also received the Silver Bear awards for Best Actor and Best Actress. A Separation won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. During the film’s screening and analysis, the influences of Iranian cinema, character examinations, and scene sequences were evaluated."Dead Poets Society": was released in 1989 and won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. In the analysis of the award-winning film, the conservative Welton Academy shaped by the rigid discipline mentality of the 1950s, the patterns of tradition, honor, discipline, and perfectionism, and character analyses were evaluated.

The Katre Art and Science Center Adult Music Choir has begun its rehearsal sessions with a team of approximately 20 choristers and instrumentalists. The rehearsals, held at the Middle East Media Studio, are coordinated by Hayri Tunç Güvenç, a member of the Board of Directors of the Katre Art Center.Aiming to perform works consisting of folk songs, melodies, and various musical pieces, the Katre Art and Science Center Adult Music Choir intends to crown these performances with choral presentations and bring them to art enthusiasts through concerts to be organized. Additionally, involving art lovers in the activities and enabling individuals with interest and talent in music to become active in this field are among the project's objectives.
